Tire Size for Evo 9 with Coilovers

When its time to upgrade, I will be going with the new AD08's. Currently I am running 245/40/18 on my 18x9 Advans RG II's. I will be using these tires for everything; DD, Lot's of Drag, and a little Autocross. Based on a 9" rim, I see that the best size is 255. Should I stay with 245's? Go with 255's? Or jump to 265's? Give me your input!

The reccomended tire size is 255. Id stick with that just cause when you go to large on a wheel itll cause alot of side wall flex. Ive been running the 255's on my 9 with coilovers and am very happy with the results. ( NTO5 all the way ) Good Luck.

I have the same wheels as you have (ET 29?) and just got 255/35-18 Falken FK452-tires and it works great.
I have no fender mods and so far there has been no rubbing. I'm currently lowered on Tein S-Techs but have a set of Tein Mono Flex -coilovers waiting.

So I would definately recommend 255/35-18 : )
