275-40 on stock 17'?

Can I run these tires on the stock rims?they are MT drag radials but they are going to be installed on another car,will they fit the rim?

they wont fit no mater what you do on stock 17s

You will need a 9.5" rim at minimum but I would run a 10". Those big tires will slow you down. I would run Nitto 555R's 245/45/17 on stock rims or wait till Hoosier comes out with a 225/45-17 or 245/45-17 Drag slicks.

I'm cutting low 1.6's on 245/40-18 Toyo T1R's at 20 PSI Rear and 23 Front. Stock turbo @ 376WHP
