how does my alignment look?

i took my evo to get an alignment today and i asked for -1.7 camber up front, 0 toe. -1.4 on the rear with 1/16in. toe.... im on swift springs.

they came up with:
left front, -1.5 camber, 3.5degree caster, -0.01degree toe.
right front, -1.7 camber, 3.2degree caster, -0.04degree toe.
left rear, -1.3 camber, 0.04degree toe
right rear, -1.3 camber, 0.05 degree toe

left to right camber is too far out and too much rear camber for the front camber setting but the rest looks fine.

I think that looks great. There is a +/- when using camber bolts. We cannot nail an exact number. That is within spec.

That is almost exactly the alignment I run.

i was hoping you would chime in! im not sure if its the rear toe, but now it seems if i make a sudden turn at a higher speed, that the rear end keeps moving over for a split second.... any body fealt something like that?

Rotation

What are your tire pressures?

Rotation, aka oversteer. Where you can walk the rear around a bit more to help with tight turning in AX and tracking.

Could be too low of pressure in the rear tires. That might give you that sensation as the tire patch moves. Try 32/32 then go up and down in the rear until you get it to something you like.

I have the swift spec-r with RCA & camber plates rotated with stock shocks.
I set my front to -2 camber , 0 toe. Caster ended up being -4
Rear I tried to max out and all I got is -1.1 camber with about 1/32 toe in.

The car felt great in the dry & wet at the track. I did not really notice much understeer at all. Initial turn in does feel a little jerky though...need to learn how to smooth out the initial steering input.

why did you toe in the rear, instead of out? you should be able to get alot more camber out of the rear

Toe: Because I wanted stability under accel & cornering (for the wet & street). Apparently the car toes-out as the car squats and rolls. See Post #7 here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...d-toe-out.html & https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...et-racing.html is a good read too.

Camber: Because the shop I went to messed up my alignment on Friday PM, and I was going to track on Monday am. Had to fix alignment on my garage floor Sunday pm and after raising the car 50 times up and down, I just wanted to sides to be equal as I had enough. Doing the rear is a big pain using camber plates & camber level gauge on a regular garage floor especially that changing toe messes up the camber and vice versa. Can't do it as easily as the front where you set camber then just do toe. In back, set camber, then set toe, re-measure, and the camber is messed up due to toe change (or vice versa).

I actually liked these settings... I may not mess with them unless I feel I'd want the car to behave differently.
