16" wheels that fit over factory Brembos?

I'm looking at options for tires on my Pikes Peak hillclimb car, and was wondering if anyone has any confirmed fitment on 16" wheels. I'd be looking for something in the 8.5-9.5" range based on the tire I want run.

Any help appreciated!

Dave

CCW Should be able to make a set for you. I remember they did a set of 16's that fit over the Brembo's for Dave Buschur.

Probably a pretty good amount of coin but the classic's are so dope.

I've waited a bit too long to pull off anything custom, so I'm hoping that one of the domestics might use the same wheel pattern, or that Enkei or someone else might have one on the shelf.

Searching thru the archives, I did find someone who put a 16" wheel on their car for running snow tires, but I'd like to run a tire that's a bit wider than a 205. The tire I'm looking at is a 265/45/16.

This is something that i was looking too, but i dont really want to pay almost 3000 for rims...

I will probably go with AMS's rally brake kit and then i will be able to run whatever 16 inch rim i want...

I would be look to see there there are other options other than the CCWs for the stocks brembos

Hmmm, CCW is the only I know of off the top.

I don't know how big of a crunch your in ( if it's for PPIHC, prob semi big ) but you may want to give them a call, maybe they'll want to swing em quick for ya, support the effort.... Can't hurt.

Good luck !

Enkei makes the RPF1 in a 16x8 with a +32 or even +15 offset that sounds like it would fit but as far as I know no one has ever actually tried it. They're such a popular wheel though that I wouldn't be surprised if some shop had a set that they'd let you try.

that would e cool if someone could actually test if those wheels fit, even maybe by using small spacers!

I found the tires in a 17" size, so I'll most likely be picking up a set of the 17x9.5" NT0-3s.

Thanks for the input guys!
