symetric tires for the evo?
stick with me here.. i'm actually thinking of this for one reason.. ROTATING!.. in know.. crazy concept right? but my thinking is along the lines of.. "if i could rotate my tires properly instead of just front to back and visa versa, i could get a lot more life out of my tires, right?" thoughts anyone? and are there any out there that are sporty enough for our cars?.. just another random thought by me.. just wanted to see what you guys thought..
oh, and i am thinking of just a regular everyday tire, not autocross or anything like that. (i've already got those covered ), and just the stock 17" also..

ok.. is there a difference between asymetrical and directional? or are they the same? because i have tires that say "rotate this way" if they went to the other side of the car.. they would rotate backwards.. please excuse my ignorance in this matter.. i'm just curious

This explains it quite well:

1
DIRECTIONAL TIRES ONLY
Refer to the "rotation arrow" branding on the tire's sidewall. The arrow indicates the direction in which the tire should turn.
2
ASYMMETRIC TIRES ONLY
All tires should show sidewall branding indicating side facing outward.
3
DIRECTIONAL AND ASYMMETRIC TIRES
Look for "Side Facing Outwards" branding and "rotation arrow" to determine side of vehicle.
