Will I be ok if i run a set of 265/35/18 up front and set of 285/35/18 out back?

255 with a +35 offset wheel

Have you worn size 9" shoes on one foot and 12" on the other? Try running as fast you can with them on.

If you really want it to look like a beast then what about a widebody in the back, or rolled fenders/offset or even spacer (not what I would recommend, but you want it to look more aggressive...).

Or like you said, just go big all the way around.

The reason i dont want to put any wide fenders on the car, is because i will no longer be able to use plastic fender liners. And little rocks and stuff will make a bunch of nouse hit under the wheel wells.

my question is that isnt running dif width rims the same concept as dif tires?

absolutely not the same...
a lot of people run wider rims in the front for autocross... helps to control the understeering...

similar, for example if the tires are more stretched out more in the front of a evo it would be a slightly different diameter than than the back less stetched tires, but you could even it out by tire pressure to a certain extent.

I ended up going with 275/35/18. Next i want to go with 285/35/18. I might be able to do that if i bring the front fenders out some more.

but, i also have a 9.5" wide wheel with a +22 offset, so that might have something to do with it.

I have a 9 inch rim if i had a 9.5 it would def rub.
