18x8 +36 with a 25mm spacer: Fit a stock bodied evo?

I know this sounds like a f***ked up size here. but can anyone tell me:

Will an 18x8 +36 with a 25mm spacer fit a stock bodied evo fit?

With 245/40 tires

Thanks!

So here's the next questions. Which tire setup has a better chance of fitting:

245-35-18
OR
235-40-18

??

Ok, according the my spotty math, the face of the rim would stick out within 1mm of a:
18x9.5 +30??

I.e. 18x8 +10.96 vs 18x8 +11

right right??

I think it'll fit. You'll probably need to roll atleast the rear fenders, but I'm sure it'll fit the stock body.

And yes. You're right. The wheel would be equal to a 18x8 +11.

or it a 18x9.5+30 with a 245mm will fit without rolling fenders??

I don't think they will fit. I think your better off with a 10mm spacer. That would be 18x8 +26. 245's will fit a 8" rim but less sidewall flex with a 235. So 245/40-18 or 235/40/18.

I think your better off with 18x9.5 +30 with a 265/35-18! This is my number one choice of wheel and tire size for the Evo! You could also run a 255/40 or /35 on a 9.5" rim but the 265 would be hands down the best size.

Thanks for the feedback!

Problem is, i cannot run a spacer smaller than 20mm b/c the caliper will interfere with the rim. And these rims don't come in any better size.

I don't mind the extra side wall with a 245/40 b/c i'm at the drag strip more often than the autox.

I'm going to have to buy a tire and then see if it looks like it will work if the fenders are rolled

Any other feed back??
