suspension popping noise

suspension popping noise

okay i just lowered my evo and i notice a popping sound coming from the left front passenger wheel. what is causing thus sound? i havent drove the car yet, im thinking maybe it will go away after driving a little and having the suspension seat into place.

is this normal?

Did you make sure the top perch and bottom perch holes were aligned?

it almost sounds as if the spring is rubbing on itself....

let me go check and see if thats the problem

will it hurt to drive on it if its not?

No, just annoying.

Make sure the springs coils are in their correct pockets too (notches).

the problem was the 2 holes werent lined up top and bottom...
thanks a lot dude, i fixed it and its perfect now

Ok I know the problem is solved and all, but I am having a hard time figuring out which wheel is that ^

Right hand drive. It takes me 30-40 mins to get the shifting down when I am in the UK. Re-training my brain and not reach with my right hand to shift.

Yeah it must be pretty difficult to drive like that, I had an uncle that went to the UK for some time and kept getting on the wrong side of the road lol
