Why are you getting cheap, lacking grip tires then? Get some stickier tires for those rims. Do the rims justice.

Dunlop Z1*, RE11, RS3s, NT05s....

You really arent making sense if you ask me...First of all you have to pay to play. While $900 isnt a significant amount of money if you shop wisely you can greatly improve your setup. Why cheap out on tires? Spend a little more money and your cars handling will greatly improve.

And if it were me I would completely forget about buying coilovers. SmikeEvo along with many others has had great success with replacement performance springs. Look into some swifts or gtworks. Pair those with some MR bilsteins and sway bars and youve got yourself a killer setup that wont break the bank.

didnt think of that. i found used megan coils for $500 shipped and then wanted to spend $400 on tires. i need a decent drop to play of the wheels im using

i just ordered the hankook from Tire Rack, car and driver did a comparison on these and the Star Specs they were close enough.. the weight is why i bought the kooks 25lbs to the Stars 28.
