Hankook W300 On Evo In Snow??

These tires are crazy cheap. $100 shipped to your door. I was wondering if they are any good. They also have a speed rating of VR. That's perfect since that's usually the highest speed I go. Anyone used these? I plan to put them on my stock rims and then probably go 17" Volks/Rays if I have enough money and put the stock tires back on those during the summer.

I bought a set about a month and a half ago. I'm in Dayton Ohio -> we just got 18" + of snow!! Tires performed great! The car pretty much refused to get stuck. Really fun in snowy parking lots!

I think any all-season tires with evo's AWD will be ok for most snow unless you want to go with full snow tires like blizzak or something...

not true .. not all tires are created equal...

that would be like sayign awd is awd.. no

I have the falken all season zeix on my civic and they preform better than most all seasons

The Hankook preform pretty well --- but theyre the first set of snow tires ive ever owned

$50 each cheaper + free shipping is pretty tempting.

EXELLENT SNOW TIRE regardless of price. It's speed rated and performs real well in the dry also for a snow tire. But that's cause it's a "performance snow tire". I would dare compare it to the Blizzaks LM series. If anything the blizzaks might be a little better on ice due to their multi-cell rubber compound which imo breaks down after the first season (from heat cycling) and is worthless there after.

Anyway no doubt in my mind the Hankook 300 is the way to go! If you guys want something for deeper snow, try the 404 by Hankook. It's also studdable.

We don't get much snow in Seattle either. Don't plan on running them all the time. Just for snow.

Don't act like you know what you are talking about. You don't even own a evo anymore

I ran these on the stock wheels for a winter. They were great but did not handle anywhere close to any high performance tire. I am now running the Pirelli P Zero Nero M&S and they do pretty well in the snow but a TON better in the dry.
