I am running BF-Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW II's and they have a 300 Tread life and handle pretty good for DD and if you look into them they have good reviews some have issues with them getting loud but with a Aftermarket Turbo Back you wont notice much. I rotate tires seasonally so the KDW's are my summer/spring and fall tires and I use blizzacks in the winter.I am running 245-40ZR17 which weighs the same as the 235-45-17 advans just look at the weight of the tire as well.

I had the KDW 2s already on my car & they lasted me a while...car handled pretty well with those tires on...I did a good amount of autox with those tires but when I went to the 1/4 i had wheel hop issues with them...so thats what is keeping me from getting them again...

I rotate every 5k and get alignments often since I was big into auto-x and the roads in Hawaii pretty much suck.

Dunlop direzza star spec is a great tire. I have a set of 265/40/17's right now. Car rail around corners.

If you think they are good by any means, you haven't driven on any good tires then yet. What have you used for tires in the past that you can compare them with?

You are really missing out on one of the best attributes for the evo with those tires. The handling.
Those are it.....I must be on crack then because I think they are great lol
I have been running various potenza's for years and a couple of dunlops, potenza's were nice but cost too much and didn't last long. Maybe I am missing something.
