Question Springs:CHOOSE 1

Below is a list of springs I found at http://www.optauto.com/webstore/prod...1531&last=1531

I think Im going to get the TEIN S.TECH SPRING KIT, the pictures of some of the people on the list they look good. Just curious about quality of the spring, I've always got Eibachs before but not sure if 1'' will give me the look I want, that fender gap has got to go.

I know some people say well its a rally car and its supposed to be high, but im not taking my $30K+ car off road (although it would be a blast ) So just wanted a few more opinions on this. Thanks...........

I have the Tanabes and they are great. I had them on my 180 in Japan too and they are great quality. Perfect drop, have yet to scrape anywhere. For the price you can't beat them. I think that a 2 inch drop is pushin' it with the Tein S Tech's.

I'd like to hear the difference in spring rates between the Tein S Tech and the High Techs.
I would get either the Tanabes or the Teins

Yah, Im not sure what springs to get. I want it to look good, but also ride good. Im not worried about the ride to be to bumpy but I want the springs to last. For $150, just not sure how long they would hold up. But anyway, still looking..................

the springs shouldn't be the consern....i never heard of a spring breaking or loosing its rigidness....your consern should be your stock shocks riding lower then what they were designed for.

Springs compress over time, the $250 for Eibachs seems what decent springs should cost, I had Eibach's in my Eclipse for 4yrs, and over the 4yrs they compressed. READ: the car got lower!
Im curious to see what $150 springs will do, that is my concern, and yes I know shocks go bad, I replaced mine in my Eclipse after 3yrs, they were totatly shot......Springs compress over time its a FACT.
