Car sits higher after new tires/alignment?

Just wondering if this is something common or maybe just an optical illusion...but I just had new tires (stock size) mounted and also got a new alignment and it seems like my car is now a little higher off the ground. Particularly the front bumper. My alignment printout shows that everything is in spec too...I'm lowered on Swift springs and wondering if any one can chime in on this! Thanks!

Did you get a different brand tire? Even though its the same size it could still physically be a different size

Yes I did. I was using some Hankook tires before, but now I have Falkens.

Just thinking outload here....A new tire has more tread... It'll automatically be taller.

Is that it?

Yeah I was talking to a friend and he said the same thing about how more tread = heigher car. But I didn't think it would so obvious.

I dont see how it could be anything besides the fact that new tires have more tread, thus the taller ride height. The Falkens most likely even though they are the same size could still be larger. Honestly though the only other thing that could do it could be the amount of air in the tires?
