Rear brake adjustment

I have been having some troubles with my rear brakes.

A few months ago they starting squealing bad, the rotors had been grooved by what looked like uneven pad wear.

I resurfaced the rotors and installed new pads. Now when I go out to log 3rd gears pulls, the brakes will squeal bad as i am slowing down. I am wondering if the pads are rubbing the rotor and heating them up? Or maybe coming loose somehow?

If anyone has thoughts please share.

I am using porterfield rs-4 pads.

What should i check on the calipers?

Also, just to be clear. I only get the squealing after doing a hard 3rd gear pull. No problems at last weekends' auto-x or during/after highway driving.

Cold pads - make noise.

hmm.

So your thinking that because my pads are relatively cold, that when I apply the brakes they aren't sticking properly. This causes them to vibrate and hence the noise?

Another contributing factor could be that my rotors are spinning pretty fast.

I buy this, still am concerned that something could be wrong with my brake though

thanks!
