Brake Pads, Rotors and SS lines

well im going to be replacing my front and rear brake rotors along with pads and ss lines. My car is my DD, i auto x my evo and hit the strip a few times a year. My car has 30k on it. This is what im thinking of getting. LMK what ya think.

ROTORS
- POWERSLOT
PADS
- HAWK HPS
SS LINES
-GOODRICH

and yes i've used the SEARCH button

Try this combo instead:

Centric Premium rotors, RacingBrake ET500 pads, Technafit SS lines, and ATE Blue fluid. Cheaper; better; done.

Ah - if you searched, the sticky at the top of this thread should have been there. And you would have seen what people had to say about the HPS pads.

You also should flush to some good brake fluid.

Great combo Kracka. I'm going to be running ET800s this spring/summer myself.

The Stoptech kits the vendors are selling are pretty good also. Stay away from the Hawks as Smike mentioned. I also dont like Girodisc Magic pads that are on my car now.

how much fluid for a complete flush and fill??

getting the Motul RBF600

You need 1L to completely flush/bleed the brake and clutch hydraulic systems. Read up on Motul, its generally not recommended for street use unless you plan to flush it every 6 months.

I also have a dislike for the Magic pads. I tried them on my Evo and was not impressed and my wife does not like them on her WRX. As a FYI, Stoptech uses the Centric Premium blanks to make their slotted rotors.

...just wanted to throw some words of amazement and praise to TireRack...just ordered 2L's of ATE SuperBlue YESTERDAY at like 1535, and i'll be damned if it wasnt sitting at the door this afternoon....wow...
