I have the DBA 4000. I don't think they are that much better than stock. It is pads that make the difference- spend your money there.

Yep - pads do the work.

Get blank rotors. Slotted cant be turned in most places.

And Axxis ULTs are a great DD/AX option. Low cost and offer nice braking. DS2500 pads are nice too but expensive. GranSport GS5 were my favorite AX/DD pad. Cheaper than the DS2500s, but more than the Axxis ULTs.

I would throw in the Racing Brake ET-500 pads into consideration also. They are a great AX/DD pad at a great price.

I've ran RotorPro's Drilled and Slotted w/zinc for 3 yrs now without the need to turn the rotors or replace the pads. That's with racing the car.

ya but with the stock rotors they were smokin, I'm pretty sure the other rotors dissipated the heat much better. I don't think that the pads dissipated the heat.

Problem is not the rotors and heat, its the lack of air flow to the rotors. Thats one reason why all the track folks have ducts.

I just changed my rotors/pads... I had slotted/drilled and of course they cracked. I changed them out for some girodisc rotors and pads. They weren't TOO pricey but they are GREAT in my opinion, the combo I had before were stoptech rotors with HAWK HPS pads... very noisy! All around I'm satisfied with what I got and how they performed that's just my .02 cents. Good luck and hope this helps!
