I was wondering if anyone knows of any replacement dampers for the JIC Magic FLT-TA2 coilovers, JIC doesn't offer the dampers for them anymore and I just need dampers to put on to make the car drive-able for DD'ing not aggressive driving right now.

I already tried, they told me to contact JIC directly and JIC said they can't get the dampers for them anymore so I'm stumped.

How long ago was the FLT-TA2 discontinued? You would think JIC would keep the dampers around for R&R purposes. I just got a set of JIC FLT-TAR and i hear they are going to discontinue those soon as well. Either way, they should still be able to rebuild them at the California office.

 

I honestly have no idea how long ago they discontinued them, and I don't have the dampers anymore because they were beyond repair but now JIC is saying they can't even replace them because they don't know which damper was on there so I'm probably just gonna end up trying to sell the rears..

And I contacted Muellerized yesterday and they said they were gonna email me a form to fill out and email back and I haven't even gotten a email yet.

 

i spoke to Jon at JIC today. He said they CAN rebuild TA2's. I asked, because i was worried i might be in the same situation when the time comes to have my TAR's rebuilt. He made a point to say that they should never have an issue rebuilding any of their dampers.

 

Now I'm pissed because I don't have the dampers anymore lol
