Choosing a tire size for 18x9 +36
Just ordered a set of Enkei PF01's in 18x9 +35 (obvious typo in the title)
I'll be going with Direzza's, but I'm just deciding on size.
I can roll my rear fenders, that's no problem, my car isn't all that low on Robispec V3's, however, the car sees daily street duty, some weekend auto-x and occasional road racing.
so, 255/35 or 40 or should I be stepping up to a 265?
Thanks, and since I haven't seen any pics of this wheel on an Evo, I'll be sure to update.

No "Guru" help has arrived=)
Im running the X wheel 18x8.5 (+38) & run a Toyo 255/35 ( No rear roll & on C/o's squatted deep in rear)....A 40 series side wall looks great but could be a tight fit both up front & in the rear IMO.....Your +35 offset is a great choice. You could probably get away w/ a 265/35 w/ a rear roll.
My suspension was tuned by an EVO "Pro" & only recommends the higher offset wheels +34 or higher. He will remove your rear strut & ensure the tire will float into the well w/out contact. (Fender roll, fender pull & cambers adjusted from there)
Havent you found any other members running the Enkei PF01's?
Good Luck!!! Peace

IMO the best fit on an 18x9 for street use is a 265/35 - it's what I run on my 18x9s. Pretty much the identical diameter to stock, looks great, but does require rolling of rear fenders.
