Agree with chu.

And moved to normal area. Not an advanced question.

I love my Hotchkis Bar. At first I set it to full stiff but noticed that it would step out on high-speed exits. Changed it to full soft and it started to push on entries, and wouldnt rotate off the back tires. So medium is where its been. Compromise of both till I get stiffer spring rates.

GL with your purchase but most importantly learn your car and how to drive it fast.

First off just get some Swifts ot GTWorx springs and see what you think from there. They will probably ride better than stock in your opinion. Secondly reconsider the "wider tires are better" statement. Your driving habits have to be at the limit more often than not to ever take advantage of what a wider tire might offer. There are more cons than pros on a basic DD setup. Search some more on tire choices and you will see.

I will through in some swifts on the KYB's though but Michgan roads are JUST horrible to have a car lowered and superstiff. Unless i get a good deal on belsteins i am not really worried to much about them, btw are the KYB's stiffer than belsteins??

The only reason i was looking into upgrading the sway bar, the under brace maybe an rs trunk brace also, was because i just wanted to reduce the body roll, so when i am drinking a coffe going to work i wont have to worry about spillng it , plus if i ever went to any local auto x the car would be able to handle good
PS - I am from MI. Car was tested and raced there. KYBs will work great also on the Swifts and GTWorx springs.

Wider is not better, you are increasing unsprung rate, decreasing turn-in response and acceleration. As stated, you are not going to hit ultimate grip on the street.

Braces do not do anything, bling yes.

SB: Swifts - full package. Whiteline front and Progress/Perrin rear is popular. Robi also makes a set.

I think the underbrace MIGHT do a little bit....maybe. Certainly would be difficult to convince me to spend the money on it but if someone gave me one I'd put it on. The RS trunk brace is another "would put on if given to me as a gift to make whoever gave it to me happy" mod.

I don't like rear bars bigger than 25mm...personal prference maybe. The Whiteline 24mm and Perrin 25mm are pretty good.

The Whiteline 26mm front bar DOES help a lot too but is not fun to install. Worth it though.

To the OP: What you need to do before touching the swaybars is:

- Rear trailing arm bushings
- TRE Rear diff
- Springs
- alignment

these four things should net you a very neutral handling Evo. Add swaybars only if, after the above mods, you still want less body roll and some adjustability to your handling balance. However, if you are going to get swaybars, replace both, not just the rear.

The swift swaybars look nice, I just wish they made an adjustable front for the Evo. I ended up going with a H&R / Works (F/R) combo.

I am running the MR bilsteins, with Swift Spec r's, a perrin 25mm bar w/ their end links, and all the Whiteline bushings.

Car feels superb. My .02

I have a perrin rear bar on the middle setting and a carbing 6 point underchassis brace. The sway is one of my favorite mods, the way it completely dialed out the understeer. The brace I gotta say I couldn't fee much of a difference, but I haven't really pushed it since I got it on a couple of weeks ago. The carbing clears my 3" DP no problem, a ton of free space, it sits lower than the stock tie bars. I don't track or autox so I'm just giving you seat of the pants feel.
