Brembo Caliper Rebuild

Hey guys. I am just about ready to torque the bolts for the calipers but i didnt mark the front calipers to remember which side goes where. So i know there are two different sized pistons and want to make sure they are on correctly. On the front, does it go 40 opposite fom 46 or 40 oppostire from 40 and 46 opp. 46?

They can only go on one way (on an Evo). The bleeder nipples point up if that helps.

The calipers bolt to the inside of the rotor; done.

I dont think you guys understand the question. I need to know if the pistons on the calipers, if your looking at the caliper from the top go....

40 46

46 40

or

40 40

46 46

I dont know which way front of the caliper goes with which back side of the caliper. Understand now?

I wonder if thats why because they are off centered like that. I did it the other way. If made sense for equal load to be on both the left and right side of the calier as well as front to back of the front calipers. If it doesnt work out, i can switch it.

the leading edge are the 40's I think it's because they are somewhat "self energizing" like the leading edge of a brake shoe is.
