Tire wheel rub

Just wondering how some people install 18 in rims and they dont rub? Are they having the lips rolled? Or going with a wide body kit? Because theres times my stock rims rub with the wheel liners and its driving me nuts. Any insight on this would be great.

well having a properly sized wheel with a working offset is the first factor

tire size is a major factor as well...a 255 or above can definitely rub

I have 17x9.5" wheels with a +28 offset and 255/40 tires

they rubbed the rear fenders so I rolled them

What offset are you running? Spacers?

I spent a lot of time working with Forgeline wheels over the winter to get a setup that worked w/o rubbing. I run 18x9.5" with no issues!

Sorry was gone working. I have no spacers and running 235/45 on the stock enkie rims. So im confused as theres times when the rub the liners and theres about a 3/4 inch space between the tire and the back of the front fenders. Is this normal?
