Any dual valve stem wheels other than Kosei???

Anyone know who makes dual valve stem wheels? It seems 17x9 in Kosei is no longer available with an offset of 30 or 35 and would like to find a comparable alternative.

Thanks!

I remember seeing these wheels with dual valve stems so you are indeed correct.

Can someone inform me what are the advantages to this?

unless your running a inner liner I dont understand why you need two valve stems on a radial? I know Nascar uses two valve stems, one for the inner liner, so in case the tire blows out, you have the inner liner to run on so you still keep somewhat of a control on the car so you can steer it to safety.

+1 I never really understood the need for dual stems aswell on radials...

I have heard it helps with getting moisture out of the tire when you are filling it with air. Thats the only "benefit" I have heard from them.

I have the Kosei's on mine, it's a great conversation piece, but after a while I got sick of people asking why there are two. Finally I just started answering "its so that you can fill it up even on both sides"

Some of the reactions have been priceless

I was under the impression the dual stems are for purging all the regular air when filling w/ nitrogen

Got my eyes on some RPF1 17 x 9 +35 for my next set of wheels=)

The purpose of the dual valves is for the two reasons mentioned above:
1. Purge tires of regular air with nitrogen
2. Blow out moisture if you've been filling tires on high humidity days,
which could affect handling at high speeds if left in there

By filling with nitrogen, a couple of benefits are realized:
1. Nitrogen does not absorb moisture
2. Nitrogen molecules are larger and offer cooler temps and more
stable temps from the inner to outer edge of the tires

wouldnt it be faster to just remove the valve stem core and let it blow out completely anyways?

In racing many teams use Nitrogen. Nitrogen has larger molecules than ambient air and is less likely to "seep" through the pores in all tires. It also is less sensitive to temperature so the PSI stays more even as the tire heats and cools with track use.

The two valve stems help in exchanging ambient air for Nitrogen. One stem is used to bleed off the ambient air while nitrogen is put in the opposite stem.

This look if popular in Japan and was added to many daily driven wheel designs.
