I've see a buddy club qf wheel crack on the spoke just like your volk, no bent in the lip at all.

I just got set of used CE28, this makes me worry.

 

UPDATE
got it fixed then it cracked again at the same spot during the weekend. i called the shop and they are shocked and sent me a return shipping label to send it back to them.

they are recruiting a metal specialist to look at the composition of the material and then go from there.

 

i had the same thing happen to my ADVAN RCII rim. I was driving it normal and the next thing I knew it was feeling wierd so i looked at my rims and saw the break. I'll post pics tomorrow when I get my car back from the detailer.

 

Jeez i thought it only happened to rotas...

it's not. I contacted ADVAN and they sent me a new one. i use the broken one as a spare just so i dont hurt a good one in the event of a flat tire.

 

so in conclusion
advan > volk in terms of service.

I emailed mackin industries and they ignored my 2nd and 3rd email.

 

sales of rota wheels are gunna skyrocket when ricers find this out...

Yeah I guess, all I paid was shipping from Japan.

I found the last 2 new ADVAN RCII Rims on the planet and they were in Japan. There is a shop in Cali that has a set of 4 but wouldnt split them up. ADVAN discontinued the RCII for the new line up of Rims.
