Say no to all seasons. They're just a bad all-around tire. If you bought your car for performance, don't insult it with all season tires. If you bought it so you can say you have an Evo, then you can buy Sumitomo tires for cheaper.

well i agree but i've been to both sides of the coin... running evo with summer or race tires and having a daily driver and now my evo must play both roles in snow or sunshine...

hence im not a critical with all season runners as i used to be.

i heard these werent bad

But i was only looking for all season because the summer is allmost over, but i wouldnt mind high performance tires that work well in wet and dry.

For an all season they do quite well. I would say they are toward the top of the food chain for dry handling and response for what they are. Summers would offer better dry, but won't do anything once it gets cold outside.

what if i stuck with all season for now, and then i really invest in work one piece wheels, and some good stickies.

It's a IX and the tires are Hankook V12 Evos. They do very well in the wet and have more grip than you'll safely use on the street in the dry. I wouldn't suggest using them in snow.

I have Advan S4 tires on my A8, and I was _not_at_all_happy_ with their winter performance. A couple of years ago I ran a set of Continental Extreme Contact tires on my Evo as my late-fall/winter/early-spring tires, and they performed reasonably well - even surviving a track day.

Your Evo has enough performance to where you really would benefit from running a dedicated set of winter and summer tires.

I ran the GY Eagle F1 All-Seasons on my Evo.

Got through this on them:

I never seen snow in person but it looks like it would be fun to drive in.
