255/40 vs.255/35

hey guys finally fitted my rs-d to the car 18x10's fenders are rolled and everything.... im running 255 40 18s on the car and the body shop tore up my two new rear tires so they said they would buy new ones and make the problem right.... can i run the 255 40 on front and 255 35 on the rears to make for less rubbing.... or shld i just get another pair of the 255 40's?

It's an AWD thing not a domestic/import thing.

I have 255/35 all around on 18X8's without my fenders rolled (yet) and have no issues with rubbing in the back. I would get the same all around!! Thats your best bet!!!!

you trying to run 255 on 10" wide wheel? 255 is ideal for 9" wheel, 275 is what you should run

Are you fenders rolled at all? Alignment? Suspension?

I would think with the 10" wheels, you're going to have issues regardless without the above?

Any stretch is absolutely stupid. You have no idea what forces are pushing against the sidewalls.

And again, you CANNOT run different sized diameters on an AWD car.
