Performance Friction Brake Squeal
I just got a new set of Performance Friction brake pads (front and back), got them put on about 2 weeks ago. Great stopping power but these brakes squeal HORRIBLE with light braking. It seriously sounds like school bus brakes or something. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do to reduce the squealing?

I run PFC-Z on the street and with shims and the anti-squeal grease, they only make noise if I get them hot - i.e., repeated hard stops. I'd suggest reinstalling the pads with the proper shims (shims facing the right direction as well) and grease between each layer (i.e., pad -> grease -> shim -> grease -> shim -> grease.
