Conversion of RS brake system to EVO 9 MR brake system???

So I was following an engine bay wire tuck thread and in the thread the MR owner mentioned wanting to get rid of his abs brake system to further clean up the engine bay and converting it to a non abs. The person mentioned having to have something to replace the loss of the abs with something something sensor? I just can't remember what it was, never the less I was just curious to see how this could be done and if it is expensive to do or just leave well enough alone??? I can see that this section doesn't get alot of hits but this is brake and suspension related so I hope I can get some answers. Thanks ahead of time.

I'm guessing there's a package of ace wiring to sort thru. Might aswel strip both cars and do a wiring swap.

Stupid mobile version can't edit.. acd + abs = integrated . The rs uses sensors directly to the acd . Massive dissecting of the wiring harness could prob plug it in correct but .. a swap may be more feasible

Thanks for the tip, for those wondering yes STM does sell an abs delete kit it's 400 bucks but eliminates the cluttered engine bay for those of you like me with OCD, it also drops some weight.

Bump. I intend on getting this kit and am wondering how difficult of a job this would be.

Aside from the benefits this will give for rally racing it sure does make the engine bay cleaner...and lighter.

I put abs into an 06 rs. Lots of wiring work but nothing crazy. Would have been easier to swap in an abs equipped engine harness.

might be a noob question, is it a must to have abs ? i heard alot of track evos choose rs cuz of weight, does that mean they all put abs back into the car or they run aftermarket brakes to offset it?
