Evo 8/9 2 piece rotors front and rear

I have received a call from a member today and he would like some 2 piece rear rotors. I would like to know how many people would be interested in running these on the rear of their car. This will be a leap to get these in production because engineering these are not cheap. To get the ball rolling I need to know what the demand is out there for these?

Well for all the people that want to reduce rotational weight and as well have better braking temperatures this may be important. Such as track use evos

I agree. You might want to have a mod move this to the Motorsports Section to get the response you're looking for.

I am a fan of 2 piece rotors...afterwards I put 53k hard miles on my stock brakes I went with some Girodisc slotted 2 piece...lost some decent rotational weight...

If you decide to go I to production with the 2 piece rotors they will need to be super light and withstand DD and track abuse...Have to be reasonably priced also...

I'm a fan, as well. Lost 20lbs of rotational mass by replacing front and rear.

Agreed.

I am currently in the market for front and rear 2 piece rotors, along with some other brake stuff. But, I think the market is there for the weekend warriors that have to drive their car to the track and back home.

My Evo is with Girodisc 2-piece rotors front/rear, Evos of two friends of mine are with the same rotors as well, and one friend has Evo with Baer 2-piece rear rotors.
