Hit a curb at slow speed with front right tire

It was snowing and I was going really slow and made a left turn, the road was off-camber and even though I was going really slow, it pushed me into the square cement curb. Impact was pretty hard for only 1mph or less on the right front. Now the steering wheel is tilted left. I am hoping I did not damage anything else. I am taking it to Les Schwab (where I got the Proxxes toyo's from) to see if they can align it. The question is: Will they just align it and say "Ok, bye." Would they know (about more damage) or do they just look at the computer and line it up? Or should I skip them and go straight to the dealer?

Thanks for reading

Probably bent the tie rod, in which case it needs to be replaced. Tell them what happened and they should be able to tell what's wrong.

Interested to know if you find anything wrong. I had a similar problem happen to me last winter and I never noticed any damaging effects. I don't think it knocked off my alignment like you said yours did though.

Dude, you need to invest in some snow tires.

Didn't look like you were driving foolishly, what tires do you have?

those are Toyo Proxes 4's.

Tire rack has a pretty cool comparison video between all-season tires and snow tires. For some reason I thought the all-seasons would be as good
as the Blizzaks on my Talon, but they are no better than a hockey puck on ice.

Just FYI
