Back in DSM land, with the timing belt two pronged tool, the manual called for using a 1/4 inch torque wrench to set the belt tension. No store in town had a 1/4 inch torque wrench but the Harbor Freight catalog had one and it was inexpensive. While the stupid shop manual method does not work I've used that wrench many times on other car projects. There's lots of fasteners nowadays that are torqued in inch pounds.

I used to get their catalog about once a month but they've given up on me.

Bought this tool as well, was $16.99 at harbor freight, hard to pass up! Super easy..

whats the length of the oem stud? just out of curiosity.

47.6mm is stock length.
