UnderBody Brace
So since i have my car in the air and doing some winter work, i figured i would replace those so called " chassy braces" which were easy to bent by hand lol.
So what kind of braces are you guys using out there? Cusco, JIC Magic, GTSpec or other ones? Which one is the best bang for the buck

I have long since left mine off...realistically my understanding is they prevent torsional flex in that part of the subframe which Evo's don't suffer from much. Considering how weak the OEM ones are to begin with and 95% of the people use spacers on them it defeats their intended purpose anyways. FYI I felt no difference in having them on or off multiple times...so mine have been off for the past 3yrs almost.

may have to go back a few years to find reviews
having used them first hand, the change they net is immediate vs even a stock one. As for people using spacers, depends on the downpipe being used and the brace.

Of course, i was on all-seasons. With sticky tires the difference will be greater.
to the OP, remember that pretty much any aftermarket or custom chassis brace will bump your class. I believe only Prepared classes, and possibly SM, allow them.

If mitsu put it there, I assume they have a dang good reason, ya know? Especially since its not a bling location unless you are getting run over by an Evo
I have run the beatrush bar and I think its a mighty fine piece. All of the beatrush parts are pretty decent quality and built to work.

If you're going to upgrade I would go with the Carbing 6-point brace, that should provide some additional support that the stock one doesn't Here's a review of it: Carbing 6-point Lower Arm bar
