For an Enkei RPF1s 17" x 8.5" +30mm with a BFG drag radial 225/45/17 have any fitment issues?

Hard finding sticky tires for this size wheel...Tirerack Rim size width for 225/45/17 tire is 7"-8.5"

So should I get a 17" x 8" wheel? the offset offered is 35mm or 45mm...with the 17" x 8" should i go with the 35mm?

EDIT:

I think I found my answer...the stock wheel is 17" x 8" +35mm offset so if i got the same size wheel in a RPF1 a 225/45/17 tires should fit no problem

I have Volk RE-30's 18x9.5 +34 with 255/35/18. I am looking for a great set of all season without worrying about rubbing and what not. I am dropped on D2 Coilovers. Pic is here

I was wondering if i can change size of tire that would give me better grip for all seasons. Right now i am on Potenza RE760's and they are going quick on wear. Any suggestions would be greatful and helpful. Also does tirerack give a forum discount??

Thanks

Steve

Will these fit? I've searched and searched on here and I can't find anyone running these.

https://wagen-wheels.com/products/Wa..._18-124-5.html

I'm thinking about running 18x9.5 +30 offset. My car has rolled fenders and 10mm spacers up front, running mr Bilsteins with Swift Sport springs. I'm concerned about them hitting the Brembos and or having to cut up my plastic fender liners. Any help would be appreciated.

The 9.5 rim is too wide to fit a narrow all season and make it work well on cold days, unlike good dry weather tires, all seasons have softer side walls and do not work well when stretched.

Hi All,

I am considering getting the AME TM02 Wheel in 18 x 9.5 + 22 offset. I've searched around on here and found small bits of info from people running this set up. Would a 5mm spacer up front be good enough to clear the stock brembos?

Also, what type of lug nuts are guys using?

thanks

I know someone has this exact same setup (as it is fairly simple) but this search tool for the thread has failed me. Or I've failed it. Either way.

I am getting Bilstein HDs with the GTWORX springs for my Evo 8. So it will have a slight drop.

I want to go to 255/40 tires on the stock Enkei 17" wheels. Will this work without rolling fenders or rubbing the splash guards?

Or will I need to roll the fender?

I know nothing about fitment/offset, etc. by the way. That's why I am asking.

Even in AX, I do not prefer the 255/40R17. I like the 245/45 or 245/40.

No fender rolling on OEM wheels.

I have nearly the same exact question except I'm planning on using my stockers for stock size winter tires and getting the grippiest summer tire/wheel combo that I can stuff under my stock fenders.

my goal is maximum performance at the minimum price, no fender rolling, no spacers w/ GTWorx/Bilstein HD ride height.

I'm planning on the enkei RPF1 17x8.5 30mm offset (as recommended by tirerack) with either 245/40 or the 255/40 cause I read here somewhere that it would fit and be the same diameter as the stock 235/45.

but if that 255 will gain me little grip while costing me more weight and money, I'll skip it.

does anyone have a recommendation for summer only rubber to run on the 17x8.5 30mm?
