Tire / Wheel Fitment Questions

Your running some really wide rubber & thats great. W/out a modest wheel offset of approx +29 to+35 fitting large rubber is very difficult w/out pulling & relocating the rear bumper bolt.
I preach this time & time again. See the photo below. If you cant remove the rear strut & stroke the suspension fully w/out contact, then it just dont fit. Adding more camber is not the way to fit wheels

Just ran a comparison of your set-up vs mine
I run a 275/40/17 w/17x9.5 +30
Your set-up sticks out .40" more than mine. Im rolled, pulled, bumper bolt re-locate & a few other minor things so they dont rub (Running only -1.8 camber)
Its the +20 thats hurting this set-up. Changing to a 255 did not change it. The rim still hits the fender
I like the wide rubber, but you have to run a modest offset to make them work
Some guys live w/ rub. I track my car so I can not afford to do so

Just a suggestion. Use these 2 calculators. They work very well helping us understand how far you can push offsets & tire widths

So I searched this thread and couldn't find anything along these lines...
I have the stock suspension and stock BBS 17x9 rims on the car which use 235/45/17 on them... Would a set of 225/55/17 fit? I can get a full set of basically new Blizzaks for free in that size.

^^^The stock wheel is 17x8 +38
I think the 255/45 would fit but the tire is 1.4" taller than what your running now
Its certainly not very good size for the EVO. The profile is very tall which could cause some rub at full suspension compression in the wheel well
My opinion

So it would fit but I would just not corner very hard. It's just hard to pass up some free Blizzaks with winter coming soon. I may try them on and see how it goes for a bit.
Thanks!

Enkei 18X9.5 38mm offset (front and back)
Dunlop Star spec 275/35 18
Spacers: 20mm spacer in front and none in the back
Mods: Rolled Fender in the rear
I may add a 3mm spacer in the rear because it does rub the trailing arm
Alignment
Front-
Camber: 3.5+
Rear-
Camber:1.8+

Hey guys im looking to buy some enkei nt03's for my MR sometime soon. I am on the stock MR suspsension with tein s tech springs so it is setting pretty low. I was thinking of going with the 18x8.5 with a 38 mm offset. Will these fit without rear rubbing? I know currently i have factory 17" enkeis on the car and with people in the back seat the tires disappear a little under the rear fenders. This isn't normally an issue because im usually solo in the car. those wheels are 17x8 and i was just making sure there are no issues with running the 18x8.5 with the proper tire. I just want to avoid fender rolling. I would like to just mount them on without anything to be honest.

^^^The +38 is a very conservative offset & if the spoke design works, should be a solid fit.
Certainly tire size plays a very important role but you did not mention the size
You may find an Enkei guru here, but I would post up in the Enkei specific threads for more of a pool of owners
BTW, Dont fear the fender roll. You will never be able to run the wide rubber w/out at least rolling
My opinion

I would go with a more aggressive offset but that's all they are offered in at 18x8.5 and I would roll them but the car is so low that like I said the tires ride up in the fenders with more than 2 people now so regardless of fender roll they will rub if they are outside of the feder. I just don't want the nt03's to look convex like the 17x8 style does I was also curious of the 18x8.5 with that offset are at least slightly concave
