Will be running aftermarket coilovers as well.

I am looking to mount them without using any spacers. I test fitted the rim and it clears the front Brembos with no problem (with approx 1/4'' clearance).

Q1: Stock lug nuts don't seem to fit, do I need after market ones? any recommendations?
Q2: anything else I should look out for?

Thanks in advance!
1. The stock lug nuts dont work on aftermarket wheels. You need 12mm x 1.5 acorn bulge style nuts
2. You will need a fender roll running a +30 & a 255/40 tire

Sorry, Was traveling & didnt see your question

The +20 up front is probably doable but you will not be able to rotate your wheels

The only guys who get away w/running irregular effective offsets are those running spacers (they can still rotate)

I didn't know that .... how aggressive of a fender roll are we talking here?
Thanks

Its going to be a tight fit. Try a test fit & attempt to do whats in the pic without any fender rub on stock camber

No way, You did the right thing. 255/40/17 is such the perfect tire for the EVO.

Its OK to mod up the rear fenders to make these work. Its the only way to fit the wide rubber. Just make sure you have it done by an experienced person/shop. And dont let them skew your rear camber to make them fit

Hi guys,

I need to figure out what wheel i can fit for my car.

Will be mostly for track.

Looking at getting the biggest wedssport tc105n wheels i can into a evo 8 without any body work other than rolled guards! and relocate the bolt.

Hoping for 18s x9.5 and the only offsets available are +35 and +10. Preferably the +10 because of the concave design.

also looking at either 255 or 265 tire size.

Is it possible? looking at -2.5 neg camber at max.

Thanks in advance,
ak3rx

Your only choice would be the +35. +10 will not work, even on a massaged rear fender. Dont let anyone fool you into thinking it will work & dont exaggerate the rear camber.
Running a nice 265/35 on the +35 will require some rear fender work as you noted. You may have to add some fender pulling as well

18x10 +25 13mm spacer in the front, currently mounted with 255/35/18's no clearance/rub issues. Going to 285/30/18's What can I expect. Will it work?

You will lose the stretch fit for sure. The 285/30 has smaller diameter than the 35 series youre running now
The tire side wall will fit more squarely on the 10" rim in which you will be losing rear fender gap. The tire will now be closer to the lower control arm

Most aggressive set-up

BTW, You really should be asking these guys here

^^^Your best bet is to hook up w/those that are discussing that specific wheel

Start here & do some additional XXR searching. There are more than a few threads
