It should go something like:
17 X 8.5 you need ___offset ____ is the widest tire to fit without fender rolling ____ is with fender rolling
17 X 9 you need ___offest _____ is the widest tire w/o rolling _____ w rolling
17 X 10 You need ____ offset....
I would do it but, I have no idea what fits. That's why I'm here.

whats the widest wheel and tire i can get without rubbing issues and not rolling the fenders (im muellerized - JIC coilovers)?
im guessin 18x8.5 +40 offset is the best bet w/ 245/40/18 rubber? thx

SSR suggests using 18x8.5 or 18x9.5 with offset between 22-28.
using 18x8 you can use +30 - +32

MB Motorsports Weapon 18x8 +30 offset fit great. More clearance on front caliper than the stock Enkei wheel. I think they are a great looking, fairly inexpensive wheel.

This thread has a lot of good info but is extremely difficult to navigate, and even still I don't know that I'm finding the info I am looking for.
Specifically, which brand/models of 17x9 wheels with 38mm (or 35mm) offset will fit a stock brake'd Evo?

Hey fellas. Will 18x9.5 ~35mm fit? Fender rolling is not an issue with me.
if not, i'll probably have to go with 18x9.0 ~40 and maybe go with some spacers.
