The +45 is not the go to offset. Read through this thread & will give you some norms running the RPF1

Hi, i'm looking at few options, evo 8, fortune auto 500 8k/8k I'm willing to roll fenders/bolt relocate, deciding between rpf1 18x9.5+15 or gramlights 57dr 18x9.5+22 or SSR GTV02 18x9.5 +35mm. I would like to run atleast a 245/40 if i could fit a 255 that would be better.I would like a no rub setup... Your input is appreciated it, Thanks

Ran the following #'s on the calc
Please forget about the +15. Asking for trouble running that low of an offset
Your better bet is the: 18x9.5 +22 w/the 245/40. very doable providing you roll & pull the rear fender & the bumper bolt. Running stock camber
Ran the 255 & it works as well w/just a bit more fender pull. Keep in mind the fender pull most always leaves a noticeable deviation in the rear fender (not for the faint of heart)
Of course the +35 leaves you more outboard room so the fender pull & bumper bolt relocate may not be needed

Thank you for the help, I think i'm leaning towards the gramlights 57dr 18x9.5 +22, if i was to run 245/40, I would definitely need to pull the fenders? I don't mind rolling them, but i don't like the look of pulled fenders to be honest. If i ran nt03 18x9.5 +27 or gramlights 57dr 18x9.5 +38, would that also require a pull or spacers? Thanks

With the +27 NT03 it certainly gives a bit more outboard room but is going to be very close. Possible fender roll only could do it
The +38, all is well in the well=) No mods needed
Not sure about the spacer requirements for those wheels sorry. You will have to search out those posts & contact them via PM

For sure, if you want the +22 w/the 245/40 to fit w/out adding out of spec camber & no rub then all those fender tricks are needed

Wheel fitment question
Hey Guys,
Fairly new poster here. mostly lurking. Recently bought an evo 9 mr
Dug through the fitment thread didnt really find an answer
As i can see most people prefer to go with 18x9.5 +22
My friend has a set of TE's that are on his GE STi that are 18x10 +30
Im just wondering if that will fit since they seem pretty similar.
Does anyone have any insight?
Thanks in advance

The 18x9.5 +22 will work providing you get the rear fenders worked (fender roll, fender pull etc). No other way around it unless you run out of spec rear camber which is not recommended (at least by me)
The 18x10 scenario is even tougher to fit. Read through this thread & it should give you an idea of some of the tactics used fit the wide wheel

Bottom line: Most EVO owners seem to like the lower offsets (+25 & below). I certainly understand because more wheel poke gives the EVO a great look
Your better offset choices range between +27 to +38

now is the lower offsets only because of clearance of the caliper? because if im not mistaken factory is +38 so realistically if im lowered on coils +30 should be fine is how im understanding it. i might not be able to get awhile without a slight roll though either way.
might just cave and buy a set of ZE's lol

As you noted +38 is the OEM spec & our wheels obviously fit great. Now take a Enkei RPF1 in a +35 range that moves it further outboard & it just wont clear

IMHO, Offset range is not the determining factor on caliper clearance. Caliper clearance is more of a function of spoke & wheel hub design
