Ok after a few hours of research... I'm seeing if it's possible to run RPF1's 17x9 or 17x9.5 in a certain offset that will:
1. Clear the brembos up front without spacers
2. No femder roll in the front(back is rolled from previous owner)
I will consider different offsets for front and rear if I have to. I want to go with these wheels because they are the "lightest/cheapest" wheel on the market and really want to keep it a 17 because of how cheap the tires are. I am I'm FA500 coils with a practical drop. These will be used for autocross/track days. Thank you in advance for your input.

Hey guys, a friend of mine is selling his ce28s and I am thinking about buying them off him. They are coming off an Integra type r (dc5) so I am not too sure how the fitment would be. At the moment I have the stock suspension on but I have a set of Tein Coilovers that I would put on at the same time if I were to buy the ce28s. The rim size are 17x9+22 with 225/40/17 tires. I know i would need a minimum 10mm spacer at fronts to clear brembos and maybe relocate the rear bolt but would I need to roll my guards as well ?

Any info would be greatly appreciated !
My car is an evo 8 mr !

Steer clear of these =)

Adding at 10mm to the fronts nets a +12 offset which is way too outboard for the stock front end
The rear is doable but will require more than a roll w/the proper tire. The 225 is a bit out of range for a 9" tire. My chart shows 235 as being the min

CE28's are a great wheel but find a size more suitable for the stock body

Those are great looking wheels. Your best bet would be to look at a wheel in this size

18x9 +35 using a 255/35 or 255/40 or 265/35

You will need to roll the rear fenders using the 255's at a stock camber setting

Hey guys just checking if these set ups will work people have posted about a similar set ups but I could not find exactly what I am looking for

Evo8

FA 500 coilovers

18x9 +29 offset Advan RS with

255/35/18 I seen that they will work without any fender mods
255/40/18 haven't seen any set ups with this making me believe that it won't work
265/35/18 seen that will work on the few examples but not sure of any fender mods
265/40/18 haven't seen any set ups with this making me believe that it won't work

255/35/18 IMO, will need a fender roll at the min running appropriate camber
255/40/18 will need a rear fender roll at the min
265/35/18 will need a rear fender roll & pull plus bumper bolt relocate
265/40/18 will need a rear fender roll & pull plus bumper bolt. Doable but its a very large tire in circumference

I run a similar wheel / Advan RGII 17x9 +29

You think it would be better to run 17x9+29 advans rs with 255/40/18 or 18x9 +29 with 255/35/18 for an aggressive look and performance.I really want/need a thicker tire like a 255/40 because of NJ roads. I haven't seen a 40 profile tire on the 18x9 wheel yet and if that looks nice and aggressive and not huge(circumference wise) I would go with that. And what mods did you have to do to fit the 17s since its basically the same wheel.

Also do the wheels poke out farther than the top point of the arch of the fender. I would like to have them be flush with the arch of the fenders if you know what I am trying to say

I ran these no.s for you. 18x9 +29 w/the 255/40's. You will need some fender treatment. Roll, slight fender pull & the bumper bolt relocate. (i have the same done to fit my 275/40's) The fender pull on yours will not have to be as much as mine

40's look great BTW! The +29 certainly does not poke but will be somewhat flush after the rear fender pull
No out of spec camber needed

Thats good then. I really do not want to pull my rear fender as it looks like its pricy and could be damaged very easily. I think I a gonna go with the 18x9+29 with the 255/35 and see how that goes on these roads, it still looks very clean and aggressive from the examples I have seen and if anything I can just purchase 255/40s next time around

I have a evo 9 MR with stock Brembos and would like a extra set of rims for rally cross. I would like the smallest easily obtainable rim at lowest cost that will fit my car. Would just getting another set of stock BBS be best? Are 17's the smalls rim that will fit the MR as I can't find rally/gravel tires for 17's only winter tires. Thanks.
