Not sure what offsets the LM5's come in. Really depends on how much rear fender work you are Ok with & what tire you plan on running

I.e. 18 x 9.5 +35 running a 255/35 tire will need = Flat rear fender roll at the minimum running in spec camber

I.e. 18 x 9.5 +25 running a 255/35 will need = Rear fender roll, fender pull, bumper bolt relocate etc, running in spec camber
Will the front need a spacer with the 18 x 9.5 +35 to sit flush with the fender? I'm ok with rolling the rear but definetly want to stay away from pulling the fender.

No, +35 is only 3mm away from the stock +38 offset, so the wheel will not be flushed

Its really subjective when it comes to specing the offset to be flushed. Some of the deciding factor will be your choice of tire size

The front fit on the EVO is very forgiving. Best to trial fit this +35 wheel & tire & then decide. IMO, front offsets in the +20 to +24 range are getting on the very aggressive side & may not be best for overall fit. A 10mm front spacer changes this +35 to +25

Im looking into buying a set of volks TE37SL pressed double black. They only offer 18x9.5+22 or +35 which offset will fit my evo 9 the best? Im willing to do a mild rear fender roll if needed. Also i have tein street flex suspension if it helps. professional Opinions please.

The +22, for sure, looks great & there are many who have run that spec but, the rear fender will need serious work beyond the roll (fender pull, bumper bolt relocate needed)

If you are looking for more of a no trouble set-up & track worthy then the +35 is a conservative offset that works well

Tire size will certainly affect the rear fit

Hey all -

Looking to do the Enkei T6S 18x9.5 +30 with a 265/35/18 tire on my 8.

I had the same setup on the X, only with a 275/35/18 tire (I know, better clearances on the X - no spacers, no rubbing).

I'm planning on rolling the rears, but am concerned about the fronts. Hopefully I can get by with 5mm spacers up front and call it a day?

Ran your no.s

This +30 w/the 265's will need more than a rear roll. A pull & bumper bolt relocate is in order running stockish rear camber

Not familiar that wheel, but I guess your X needed a front spacer to clear. Running a 5mm up front should pose no real issues. Some liner rub for sure at lock positions but thats the norm

Thanks for the reply!

The fronts on the X actually cleared without a spacer, believe it or not. I did 5mm all around just to make them flush.

I'll let my fender guy know he's in for some work. I figured I'd have to relocate the bumper bolt.

No Sir, Way too shallow of an offset. As a guideline, any wheel below +22 is going to be next to impossible to fit "correctly" on a stock body EVO

(correctly: meaning running stockish camber w/zero rub at all ride heights)

ok then that will probably not work for me. How about the Advan GT 18x9+25. i havent seen any evo 9 pics with this type of wheel but im sure it will look nice. Thoughts on the wheel size and what am i going to need to run this setup?

Ran these no.s 18x9+25 w/255/35 tire

The tough part is the +25. This set-up will work just fine & almost overlays with my setup (I run an Advan RGII +29) Rear fender roll, fender pull & possible bumper bolt relocate

Front fitment is OK w/no work needed. You will need to make sure this wheel will fit over the calipers

i dont mind doing the fender roll but i really dont want to pull the fender. I spoke with evasive motorsport and they told me that 18x9+25 should work fine with a rear roll. Forgot to ask about clearing brembo. Im sure they would of said something if it didnt clear. Ill call them tomorrow again just to make sure.

Be careful w/that shop. I had spoken to them about rolling my rear fenders & they, at that time, only cut the rears vs rolling. This was years ago, & ended up working w/Muellerized

Also, Depending on tire choice, +25 needs more than a roll if you are running a non stretched & a properly cambered rear

Here are the options I have, hoping to run a 245/255 tire
1)Enkei RPF1 18x9.5 +38 (20mm spacer to clear front brembos)
2)Enkei NT03 18X9.5 +27(10mm to clear front brembos)
3)Rota G-Force 18x9 +27 or +30(unsure whether spacer required)
4)Varrstoen ES2 18x9.5 +22 or +30(unsure about spacers)

My main objective for the vehicle is back road/ canyon driving and daily driving. What wheel would be the best fit. any help would be greatly appreciated

They all have potential depending on how much rear fender work you can bear (would steer clear of the +22)

The +27 running a 255/35 will need some aggressive rear fender work (rear roll, pull & likely a bumper bolt relocate) This is running stockish rear camber w/zero rub

The fronts are very forgiving but expect liner rub at lock positions

If it wasnt for the spacer requirement,I would be a big fan of the RPF1's / NT03's

EDIT / Do you have an EVO? Your sig shows Sube
