I have the wheels already but no selection of spacers

These were on my FR-S but are dual pattern and wrapped in 245 s so I want to put them on the Evo

Mount them up using washers or nuts over the wheel studs to estimate the size of spacer. There are only so many choices (i.e. 5mm 10 /15 /20) Anything over 20mm I would think about another wheel

At what point of spacer do we use extended lugs? I've never had to use spacers before on any of my other platforms but I have some concern about them not being long enough

Im not the most versed in the subject matter as some others (I dont run wheels that require spacers)

You will need longer studs using any type of slip-on spacer. You can always go w/a bolt on spacer which does not require longer studs

winter set using stock rims

my evo8 is currently running 18x9 rota g-forces with summer tires on tanabe gf210.

can someone point me in the direction of a usable tire size for a winter set that won't bring ride height/clearance any lower? it's a bit rough as is for NJ.

also, would 255/40/18 work without any rolling? i know a lot of people here use 255/35 for this size. It is also what im currently running, but want to know if i could go a little taller.

Thanks!

the rotas are +30 with 3mm spacers in front to clear calipers

for the winter set i actually forgot to mention i would be using the stock 17x8 enkeis. i wanted to try and find a size that would fit and if possible keep same/higher ride height/clearance.

The 40 series tire will not make much diff w/the rear fender clearance except you are very close to the rear fender bumper bolt.
The 40 series tire gives you a 2.7% speedo error which is not too bad. The 35 series is much closer to stock at only 1.2% diff

I didnt ask you if your rear fenders are rolled or if youre rubbing but this setup definitely needs a rear roll & a fender pull to fully clear w/no rub

You are better off sticking with 255/35/18

I just picked up a set of RPF-1s in 18x9.5+38 for my IX... Does anybody know what I need to make 265s fit? As in what spacers, fender rolling, and what size sidewall? I just want to make sure that Im going to clear the brembos without rubbing on turns and under compression before I get the tires bought and mounted. I wouldnt mind running 255s but Id like them a little wider if possible. Thanks in advance.

BBS LM 17x8 +35

Can anybody tell me for sure if these will clear the brembos on my 9? If it matters, I have the map stage 2 brake package. If they won't fit, what spacers will I need? Thank you!!!

Looking to fit 265/35/18 on an 18x9.5 +38 RPF1.

Car has FA500 coilovers. Planning on getting all fenders rolled. Should I need anything beyond that? Looking at stock alignment specs as well.

Ran your no.s on the calculator. Looks OK w/just a rear roll. Now, there are diff levels of roll. This set-up may need more of a flat roll vs a 3/4 roll. +38 is very EVO friendly

Front will be OK as stock. Possible liner rub at lock positions due to the 265 tire
