Tire / Wheel Fitment Questions
#4021
From Weds sizing chart it says both sizes share the same face design. So these shouldn't be much of a difference, the 9.5s are only $20 more for the set and are in stock, where i would have to wait about a month for the 18x9 +32s. So it looks like that's probably gonna be size i go with. I just wish i could confirm fitment with no rubbing on the inside, unless maybe it's just lock to lock and i shouldn't really notice that. Pretty sure the should clear the calipers...

Heres a thread you might be interested in. Very close to what youre looking for. Scroll down, the OP says no front spacers needed

My own view is this: There are some Volks / Advan / Weds / 5Ziggen that have enough spoke arch to clear the Brembos. Here are some of our Official threads that you should comb through. Enkies, as much as a like them, almost all require a front spacer

Since your tire interest is 265/35/18, i would recommend that the wheel spec be in this range: 18x9.5 +30 to +35. (btw, use to run the NT05 275/40/17)

Hi Shane. Im not the best at calling out specific wheels that dont require spacers as there is no simple way to determine what wheels need spacers vs those that dont. The info we have compiled has been done through the experience of others as to what works best

Looks like in the TE37 thread the most common size is 18x9.5 +22, shouldn't that be hard to fit? I still can't decide what offset i want to go with! haha I think i am gonna go with 9.5 over the 9". but my only options are +35 or +25, unless I drop back down to a 17"...
Keep searching & let me know which wheel(s) youve narrowed it down to & will do the layout for ya

Cheers for the help guys Thinking once my next lot of parts come in ill go for these. Looks like a nice compromise and still look great and no poxy spacers. I dont run my car low so might get away with a +22 but would rather step up tire size if i have xtra room. Cheers for all info above Happy new year Shane

I run the same exact size wheel spec except in 17". I run a very wide 265/40 Federal EvO595 tire. The +30 is pretty aggressive so expect the following:

I know I'm making the same post again, but now I'm crossing off +30 and +35 offset wheels. I'm giving up on 10.5 NT03s, I don't think I want to destroy my fenders to that extent. I also just don't like the looks of the PF01s so that's out.
I got R/T Ernie's rear trailing arms, rear fenders are rolled and slightly pulled. The car sits on 265/35/18s on 18x9.5 +45 RPF1s just fine. (+40 w/ 5mm spacer rear, 20mm spacer front) but I'm bored with the wheels and I'm also an idiot.
Thinking of getting CE28SLs or TE37SLs in 18x10 +40, and running 285/30/18. These are twice the price of RPF1s but at least they aren't three times the price like CCWs are. Seems like these should work.
Alternatively, what if I save a bunch of money and go with 17x10 +38 RPF1s and run 275/40s? 17s look way better than 18s for some reason, but are there any good tire choices in the 200 treadwear range? I'm not seeing much. This is a SoCal daily driver, RS3s and ZII Star Specs last me about 2 years which is fine. I don't think I want 300+ treadwear tires, and 100 would just be crazy.
I'm not even sure if I have a question or if I'm using this thread for therapy.

Always happy to have you back in the fitment thread
Do you know of anyone who has run that +40 & +38 spec?
The only way i see 18x10 +40 / 17x10 +38 fitting is w/the Dallas rear arms. No way to get those high offset wheels to fit w/out severe control arm rub on stock arms.
Thats the reason the go-to offset is approx +30 for these 10"rs
