Tire / Wheel Fitment Questions

hey guys,
I just installed a set of swift springs on my Lancer Evolution 8 on the factory wheels. I absolutely love the handling with absolutely no rubbing or anything. I have a set of 17mm spacers (front and rear). If installed, does anyone know if that would cause rubbing issues on factory wheels? I imagine it would but just wanted to confirm. If so, I'll probably just leave it on stock wheels rather than having to deal with wheel rub and/or fending rolling as I like to keep it all OEM+

Ce28n with high hp
Hey everyone I'm in the process of building my relatively stock evo 9 to 700 hp. I want ce28ns as my wheels, I want to have the most grip as possible. I was looking at possibly 17*9.5, I know 18*9.5 is very popular as well. Just want to have the most grip / function as possible.

For a 9.5 wheel, the approved tire range is: 245 to 275. Running a 275 on the EvO will require rear fender work & the wheel offset will affect the amount of work as well. For me, ive been on 17's for the most part. My street setup is: 17x9.5" +30 running a 275 wide tire (240 treadwear rated tire)
Try and settle on a wheel size & offset. Pick a tire that you want to run. If youre looking for grip, stay w/an aggressive treadwear rated tire in the range of 240 & below. For street driving i wouldnt recommend anything below a 200 treadwear unless you dont mind the cost / hassle of buying new tires
Any questions, let me know

@Terabytes Either the 17" or 18" will work well for sure. The 9.5" width helps w/loading in a wider tire. Tire compound will certainly play a role in overall grip as well as tire size

S2K is a great car. Been around them at the track
Heres a recent COVID shot. EvO is on E85 making 460whp / 407tq (DynoJet)

Yeah, for sure no spacer in the rear. There are no wheels that i know of that would fit the front caliper but not the rear. Keep in mind, to fit my setup took a lot of rear fender work. Some owners would not feel comfortable w/the amount of rear fender work i had done
If you settle up on a wheel & tire size, i can run the numbers on the wheel & tire calculator & will let ya know what it will take to fit
Cheers, Joe
