Hey thanks for the reply wasnt sure to post here or pm you. Yea i been through that thread and seems the most common size is 18x9.5 x 22. Then theres also post in there that say easy fitment.

IMO the best tire size to run is 255/35/18

Yeah, that +22 is popular but a bugger to fit properly in the rear. If youre Ok w/some serious rear fender work I can tell you what is needed to fit that (without rear tire rub). Let me know

Yes, people do that. I don't have a link but if you look in the wheel/fitment thread, there are a few posts about differing the offset front to rear.

@KGB_Melbourne From my experience, I dont remember anyone doing this or anyone sanctioning running different wheel sizes other than offset. You want the same tire foot print so having 2 different width wheels is not good IMO. The drivetrain needs the same wheel circumference at all 4 corners
We have many folks running diff offsets from to rear & that is OK from what we know

Thanks for sharing, and I agree on what you are saying .

what is a nice offset to use for the front and rears if I am going to use the CE28 N or either CE28SL .

My CE28N was stolen from my car and I am now searching for a replacement but I honestly can’t recall the offsets but I knew I had the fronts and rear which are different. .

I am running the time attack Varis Kit .

Oh, i see. You have the stock body rear! How much rear fender work are you Ok with? For example, are you OK w/rolling & pulling and re-locating the rear bumper bolt?

What size were you running?

I was using Toyo R888 and tire sizes were 265/35/18 only

Good call. I misread his post as different offsets lol. Yea, different widths would likely cause issues.

The recommended sizes for the original CE28N on a stock body CT9A were 18x9.5 +28 front and 18x9.5 +34 rear. These are unfortunately discontinued, however you could run the CE28SL's in a staggered 18x9.5 +35 in the rear and 18x9.5 +22 in the front. Your wider front fenders should allow for a 265/35 on the +22 without rubbing and a a lower ride height. The rear fenders shouldn't need much work, but you might need a small spacer if you're gonna run a 265/35 as I've heard it may rub on the inner control arms with a higher offset wheel like the +35. +35/+22 have the same face so it shouldn't look weird.

Does anyone know how large of a spacer would be needed to fit the CE28SL 18x9.5 +35 on the front CT9A brembo's? A 15mm should work as it effectively makes it a +20 (+22 is a confirmed fit) but I'm hoping a 10mm would fit. Running +35's all around on a stock body CT9A would be ideal as it wouldn't require much rear fender work and still allow for the tires to be rotated.

Currently have the voltex kit on my car without the over fender, running 18x10.5 et15 with 275/40 nitto tires. some rubbing at full lock but nothing too bad.
