Well if you're cheap you bought the wrong car.

7.5" wheels should only be used for snow tires and Hondas.

Why would you buy something cheaper, uglier, and heavier than the stock wheels? Just to be different? Or do you really want to make your Evo look like a Toyota Corolla?

The only things you should buy at Sears for an Evo are windshield wipers and batteries.

I have yet to decide on what setup I want/can do.
I am lowered on Tein Flex coilovers, fenders cut all around (just the inside lip, nothing major), and I want to go with maybe a 255 or 275 wide tire. I am inbetween 17x9, 18x8.5, and 18x9.5 rim sizes. I like the 5zigen FN01R-C, since they just came out with the new black and red lip.
Options are :
17x9 +35
18x8.5 +30
18x9.5 +35

Any suggestions?

^I remember your car from another post. 19" OZs right? the 5 Zigens are nice. I personally run a 17x9 +35 Advan with 255/40. I think it's a good balance. Plus tires are cheaper. Nothing wrong with 18x8.5 though.

On a 17X9 you can run a 255/40
On a 18X8.5 you can run a 235/40
On a 18X9.5 you can run a 265/35

From what I see, your not going too crazy on the offsets so you could probably get by with maybe a wider tire on all of those if you wanted. I just listed what I would or have ran in the past.

I want to run the Kyowa 210 18" wheels. Need to know what is the recommended width and tire size. I think 235/40-18 is what I am shooting for. I have two wheels already, but I cant see how wide they are. Any way to tell just by my tire width? I am thinking 8-9 inch wheel.

They don't make that wheel in sizes or offsets appropriate for an Evo. As for the width, the widest they come is 7.5".

It's a FWD wheel for Hondas and Toyotas and such, so you'll probably need some giant 1" thick spacer or some other rig to make it work.

There are plenty of good wheels available for the Evo, I'd skip this one if I were you.

That is definetely not true. I have seen 8" wide and 9" wide avaiable. In fact, here is the link. I actually have seen them all over the place at 8" and wider.

never asked your opinion or anyone elses opinion on the kyowa quality. Why do people have to have such negativity? The evo sported all four of these before the front two were damaged, so I know they will work. Stick to the question being asked, and not involve your personal opinion uness its asked for. ITs not my fault you were wrong. initially. Any yes, they are all over the place at 8 or 9 inch wide.
