I say 9.0 wheel will be the best for you. You won't have to do much fender work if you're not "dumped" with a 255 tire size. If you went 265 and up, then i say you'll need to really roll the rears.

Fitment??
Its time for some rims now as my stock ones are beat up and ones dented. Those will now be my winter setup and now I'm thinking of some black Volk te37's to go on my silver Evo. I plan on doing the swift sport springs and was wondering what would be the best setup with out having to roll the fenders. 17x9 with 35 offset. Also which tire size is the best to run with that size rim. Yes I know how to use the search tool but cant find the right threads to answer my question. One last thing were can I get these rims in gloss black??? Thanks for the help, and advice is appreciated!!!

Most of the 9" we've had required a fender roll. However, there is a 17x9 et 30 that does not require a roll so technically the 35 offset (which will pull the wheel further into the car) should fit.
As for tire size... many use 245/40's, others 255's. May not know which is best until you get it on there as every car, especially modded, comes out a little different.

Does anyone know if the Enkei Imola rims ( 18x8.0) from the tire rack will fit a stock 06 evo IX, if so what offset would be best it looks like they come in 50 or 40 offset with the black ones and will i need centering rings or anything.

RPF1 fitment on IX
I started checking out enkei RPF1 and I see a lot of people on here have them. I was wondering what the widest 17" RPF1 I can fit without moddng the fenders or spacers. I really want 17x9.5 so advice on what it would take to fit those if any would be particularly helpful.
