its been done plenty of times... check the aggressive wheel thread for 8/9... plenty of folks running this set up.
You are better off running a 255/35/18 or a 265/35/18 since you are going to have the fenders rolled anyways.
The roll on the fenders will a bit more if you run the 265/35 of course. Also depends on how low the car will be.
The bumper bolts can be left alone. As for camber, it will vary... anywhere from -1.8 or more up front and -1.5 or more in the rear...

I have 18x9.5 +22 245/40/18 RT-615 and had to roll rears fenders flat and relocate bolt. Everytime I went up a driveway and compressed the rear it would scrape bad on the bolt.
Depends on how low you are though. Roll first and then go from there. camber is -3 F/R

From my readings 10" wide rim fit, assuming the brake clears the spoke, are heavily determined by the coilover/strut. But a 27mm offset will most likely need at least a 5mm spacer, but probably more.
Will it clear the fender; that depends on tire width. Id assume you'll run at least 265 with it? They should clear but may need some rolling.

i have the 255/30/18s on them, i was thinking maybe getting 8mm spacers to go all the way around but i dont know. they clear the brakes but the mechanic says its very close to the strut about a 1/4 inch

Please share: TE37 18x9.5 +22
Hey guys,
Couldnt find a thread discussing this in specific.
I know there are quite a number of you running this set-up. Please share if you are facing any problems (if any) running these.
I'm on ohlins+eibach
I'm aware of the fender rollings etc, but any other issues?? Handling etc
Thanks

Xxr 522
I just got a set of XXR 522's 17x9 42 offset. I took them to get put on and the front calipers hit the wheel by a good bit and the inside of the rim is really close to the strut. They put a spacer on and the caliper still hit a little. They said they could put a bigger spacer on and put longer studs in and it might work but they just said they dont consider putting them on safe so they wouldnt do it. Every website i have seen these on says they fit the evo 8 and 9, I just wanted to check and see if anyone has these and how they got them to fit before i return them.

Fitment Question
Looking to buy 265/35-18 tires to put on Evo IX with no fender mods/spacers. Lowered on Swift springs. Going on these wheels:
18x9 Rota D2 - Royal Black(5x114.3/e30/67.1)
Will I have any rubbing issues or need spacers/fender rolling?
