You'll be perfectly fine. Its not a HUGE difference especially since you still have a bunch of wheel gap

Tire Size

I need a reccomendation for a tires for a rim size of 17*8 or 18*8.5...also am curious as to see if I need any spacers or what kinda offset I am looking at?

17x8: 235/45-17 +38 (stock VIII/IX wheel and tire size)
18x8.5: 245/40-18 +38 (stock X wheel and tire size)

So today i went to install my promada marquis 17x8 +35 wheels im running 235-45-17 tires ,
but when i went to install the front wheels i came into contact with the caliper. Can anyone help me out on this problem thanx

Help with wheel fitment please!

I have a 2006 eclipse gt with Evo brembos all the way around so i gotta use evo as my vehicle type when i hunt for wheels! ......anywho i was looking at XXR 521's 18x10 +25 offset.....now the guy told me i would need a 20mm spacer to fit the wheels ( i told him i had a 04 evo) http://www.nlmotoring.com/XXR-521-Wh...p/52180147.htm

the offset is 3 lower than stock. sometimes lower offsets work and sometimes they don't. a lot has to do with the shape of the spokes.

OK can someone please tell me...


The Rotas that are all ET30 like the Gforce and torques... yes they say use a spacer. But I would like to know if the spoke is actually impacting the caliper, or is it just that it's too close for comfort... can the wheel spin on the hub freely without the spacer at all?

I mean considering I'm running 0.4mm gap on mt car with a spacer already so just curious...

yeah it looks like the xxr 552's have that spoke design where it wont clear. nice wheels though Hopefully the 25 offset will work!

Does anyone have any info on if they will clear the fronts with no spacer on the buddy club p1 sf 17x8.5 with a 28offset? they also make it in a 35 offset?

The 18x10 521's dont even get close to clearing the front brembos. you would need atleast a 25mm spacer. I bought a set and ended up just selling them.
