Well, Rota's are Rota's. lol Depends on your color preference, but Ill tell you this, if my Evo was RR I'd definitly be going with a flat black wheel if I was settling with a Rota. The Grids are nice, so are the G-Force wheels. Not sure if they make subzero's in a reasonable offset or size for what Evo's would ideally run.
For my CE28N's, I run a +28 offset, 18X9.5's using Toyo T1R's in 245/35/18. If I could go back, I would have gotten a 255 but it's not bad as is. They are perfectly flush with the fenders and dont rub under any circumstance (lowered on Tein S-Techs/stock shocks at the moment). I imagine if I went with a 17", I would have gone a similar setup with the exception of 40 series instead of 35 series tires.
If you find a higher offset wheel, you can always retort to spacers (preferably bolt ons like hub-centrics).

Question: Will 17x7.5 wheels with a 5x114.3 pattern and a +45 offset fit??
Found an amazing deal on these wheels and I want them for winter
The specs are:
17x7.5 with a +45 offset
The bolt pattern is correct. (5x114.3)
Question is, will I be ok with that offset?? Will i be ok with the brembo brakes?
Will I need spacers?
I don't mind buying spacers iff necesary.
Thanks

What do they look like? It helps if there's a nice outward curve to the spokes. That offset if going to throw the face of the wheel a little more towards the outside of the rim compared to stock and pull the wheels in from the fenders but the reduced width is going help clear stuff. I'd probably run a 215/50. That would be a good winter size for a 7.5" wide wheel.
They might fit, they might not it's hard to tell. Evo's can present a challenge for wheels that fit. Just for a joke I went to the local tire store to see if they could at all compare to online prices for my winter setup. Les Schwab told me they only had one wheel in their catalog that fit the evo. I looked at it. It was ugly as sin and they wanted over $230ea. just for the wheels.
