The NT05 was the loudest tire I've ever had. I would not recommend these for a daily driver, great cheap tire for autox though.

also if you want your tires to last longer set your toe front and rear to both 0.

Go buy what the rappers are talking about such as "pirelli's". Jk I've had Nitto 555 Extreme Performance and those tires were amazing. Grabs very well.

Question

Guys, I've been deciding on which tires to get, I need it ASAP, and I found this thread. Any comments on these two tires?

Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 (Max Performance Summer)
Set of 4: $396.00 Link

BFGoodrich g-Force Sport (Ultra High Performance Summer) Set of 4: $416.00 Link

My setting is:

Not too noisy then is ok, at least not like crazy noisy
I guess my Evo 9 is about 300HP, stock Evo 9 17" wheels
Treadwear the higher the better, hoping for at least 20k aggressive driving
Pricing looking around $400-$500
Grip is the most concern
Will not drive in snow, but better to have grip in rain even running 80mph, I try not to drive too fast in rain if it can't handle any higher, will summer tire be at least ok in rain???
That's pretty much it, please advice, I need it ASAP, my bald tires giving me out of control feeling in rain when I step on the gas while running over 60mph in rain, scary!!!
Been reading and reading, never understand how to choose tires. Gosh!

The BFG g-force is a good tire for the money but I'd go with something else. I've had two sets of the g-forces because I got them for a killer deal but I won't ever put another set on my IX. I just put a new set of Potenza re-760's and like them so far. Can't really comment on them yet since I haven't put too many miles on them as of yet but so far they are quiet and ride really smooth on the road. The treadwear is 300+ so thats good, they grip pretty well so far but I haven't really got on her yet.

Just had to order tires for the Volks. Ended up going with the 555's after reading countless positive reviews on many different sites. We'll see how she goes

40k sounds pretty good to me, consider I am having the Falken ZIEX ZE912, I put 15k on it and the previous owner stated he put 10k before selling to me, so total only 25k. dang. but how's your driving tho, 40k daily driving? not aggressive? I might just put 20k-25k on it.
the Michelin grand touring something like that I used to have on my RSX-S, I only put about 25k on it, I think I better start driving slower to save the tread life.

The Hankook Ventus HRII H405 are going to be the most versed for highway driving. Good wet/dry traction and low noise plus very good tire wear (30,000+) if you are not sliding your car around alot. If you are on the track alot then you will want something alot more sticky. You might look at Falkin they have several good tires.
I run two sets of tires one for highway and another for the track. I use my stock wheels on the track and my "sexy" wheels on the highway.

Pretty much all daily driving with some weekend runs on the empty back roads. I drive like a granny for the most part but sometime I like to run her hard through 1-4 cause I can't resist
