CL RC6E and Girodisc 2-piece rotors - very fast wear
#16
Today I have one more reason to admit Ken do know brakes. ![Wink](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
After having the discussion above I've found CL RC5+ offered for the reasonable price (about $220 for the fronts) locally, promised to be 100% suitable for DD and reasonably normal for the track. I've bought 'em and got 'em installed together with the new 2-piece Girodisc rotors.![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
As of now I've made 1.5kmiles on 'em including one trackday and I do have my pads burnt completely.
They kept up fine for DD and short AX event, but after I took 'em to one track day (due to ambient temperature being 60F I've decided they could hold the abuse) the have been destroyed even though the local seller ensured me they are semi-track pads designed for motorsports usage. ![Thumbs Down](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/smilie_thumbsdown.gif)
Below you can see the remainings of the pads on the rims after one session:

As well you can seen the tires (255/40/17 R-S3) are sticky (I do have all the WL goodies and GTWORX springs on my car):

And I do use my brakes hard:

Pretty much that is all I do have to say. As of now the plan is - DTC30 for DD and CL RC6E for the track. We'll if this way it is livable.
