EXTREMELY odd problem after BC coilover install...sway bar to blame?
Hi all,
I am having a difficult time figuring this out.
I have just installed my BC coilovers and am having an odd problem with the rears. My previous drop was a stock strut/Tein S-Tech spring setup. Upon removal of the old stock strut and install of the new, the length of the strut is significantly shorter than the stock strut (not uncommon from what Ive seen during many drops). However upon putting my tire on, I noticed it barely fit into the wheel well because the suspension is sitting much higher. Not only that, but I have no suspension travel at all. The coilovers are set on their "out the box" setting, which is 7 threads from the top...pretty much all the way up. I dont have this problem on the front.
I fear the stock rear sway bar is causing this. Can anyone confirm a similar problem? What is the remedy if this is the issue?
Below is a pic of what Im dealing with. Again, the car is raised and off the ground in this pic with only 7 threads left from reaching the top of the height adjustment.
Please help asap!

Here ya go. As you can see, plenty of threads left to lower. The reason why I brought the sway bar into the matter was because I feel as iff the endlinks on the sway bar are too long, possibly pushing the suspension all the way up (reason for no travel).
I dont believe these are incorrect CO's either being CT9A is stamped on all 4 boxes.

a sway bar wont cause this...however, the shock adjustment is set to the softest setting??? or full hard??
also, the height may be needing attention on the strut body.
forgot to add. ...you need to get a picture with the car 'loading' the suspension ....that will tell you alot of info.
good luck
